The ‘It’ Item I Would Buy from H&M’s Latest Conscious CollectionFashion
Over the past few years, H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection has become a line of must-buy pieces for anyone looking to do a little good while they shop. With the fast fashion brand just announcing that they plan to be 100 per cent sustainable by 2030 (that’s only 13 years away!), they are expanding their profile on the eco-friendly front.
The latest offering from CEC is chalk full of pretty party pieces that are not only gorgeous, but also quite affordable (think contemporary pricing, so a little pricier than your usual H&M faves).
My top pick from this year’s wares is this floral print organic silk dress, which comes in at $199 and is available now online and in stores. Their organic silk comes from China and is produced using silk from worms that eat mulberry leaves that are free from pesticides and chemicals and GMOs.
The brand has also provided more information about each piece on the CEC micro-site on the company’s website. This kind of transparency is definitely a good thing!
