J.Crew Releases Tees for BeesFashion
Back in 2014, J.Crew launched their Save the Bees campaign, as part of their Garments for Good program, to help garner attention for our little buzzy friends through fashion. Three years later the American brand is still focused on helping the dying bee population, and rightfully so. Many scientists speculate that without bees, the earth’s eco-system would crumble. And we kind of need that to survive.
Enter Julie Houts, a J.Crew women’s designer and Insta-famous illustrator who created a hand-sketched floral print that landed on a pretty blue t-shirt for women and a pocket square for men. Fifty percent of sales from each item will go directly to Buglife, a UK-based charity dedicated to the conservation of bugs and insects. Cute tee for you and funds for a well deserving charity. That’s a very style savvy win-win.
J.Crew Bees Tees women’s t-shirt (on model), $52.50 CAD and men’s pocket square (above), $60 CAD
